Marty Roebuck is an experienced doctor who graduated in Medicine in 2015 following a 20-year career in physiotherapy, much of which was spent working in Bathurst. A long-term Bathurst resident, Marty has lived in the region on and off since 1973, with periods working and training across the Central West and Sydney.
Drawing on his combined medical and physiotherapy experience, Marty has a strong interest in musculoskeletal health and sports injury management. He enjoys caring for patients of all ages across general practice and urgent care and has undertaken additional training in anaesthetics and psychiatric medicine. His broad clinical background supports an evidence-based approach to acute care, preventative health, chronic disease management and a wide range of general healthcare needs.
Marty currently works at the Bathurst Medicare Urgent Care Clinic and is also an Opioid Agonist Treatment prescriber at the Chifley Clinic in Bathurst. He values patient-centred care, clear communication and continuity of care within the community. Outside medicine, Marty enjoys cycling, spending time outdoors and time with his wife, Angela, their grandchildren and extended family.
