Dr Ragulan “Rags” completed his Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery at Western Sydney University in 2021, spending the final years of his medical studies in Bathurst. Having developed a strong connection with the region during this time, he was pleased to return to continue his medical career and care for the local community.
Following graduation, Dr Ragulan completed his early hospital training at Westmead Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and gained further experience in Emergency Medicine at Canterbury Hospital. Now working as a GP Registrar, he enjoys the variety of general practice and supporting patients across all life stages. His particular interests include women’s health, paediatrics and preventative health, alongside health assessments, immunisations, acute presentations and chronic disease management.
Dr Ragulan takes a patient-centred, evidence-based approach to healthcare. He values continuity of care, taking the time to listen and working collaboratively with patients to understand their individual needs and support informed healthcare decisions. Outside medicine, he enjoys an active lifestyle and spends his free time running, hiking and gardening.
